PN | Weekly #22: July 5, 2026

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.”
ELEANOR ROOSEVELT

Happy Sunday, Heroic!

Michael here. πŸ‘‹

I traded hundreds of emails with people in the community this week in advance of our upcoming Flourishing Accelerator kickoff. (Next Tuesday 7/7!)

It’s got me feeling grateful for each of you and inspired by all of the incredible things you’re doing in the world.

Plus, FIRED UP (πŸ”₯) to see what everyone in the 8-week Accelerator creates in their lives and for their companies, families, and communities.

It’s incredible what happens when we have the courage to take the first step, and then follow through with consistent action.

Which brings me to this week's new Philosopher's Note, on Emotional Agility by Susan David, PhD

David spent decades studying why some people get unstuck and thrive while others stay stuck. Her answer:

"Avoidance is the enemy of great… the enemy of the growth and change that lead to flourishing."

She calls our comfort-seeking dodges "dead people's goals." Because the only people who never feel fear, or risk, or the discomfort of a real stretch… are dead.

The rest of us get to feel what we’re feeling and move anyway.

So…

What's the one thing you're avoiding… that you know would help you live more fully?

Wishing you and yours a great week!

Day 1. All in. Let's go.

-Michael

P.S. If you missed the deadline but still want to sneak into the first cohort of the Flourishing Accelerator, by request, we’ve opened registration back up.

Day 1 is this Tuesday, July 7th.

What do you want your life to look and feel like in eight weeks time, as you head into September?

Let’s make it happen, together, with → the Flourishing Accelerator.
