PN | Weekly #21: June 28, 2026

Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN

Happy Sunday, Heroic!

Michael here. ๐Ÿ‘‹

Hope you had a great week!

This week's new Philosopher's Note is on The Traveler's Gift by Andy Andrews.

It's a fable. Our hero, David Ponder, hits rock bottom, then finds himself traveling across time to meet seven of history's most transformative figures. Truman. Solomon. Anne Frank. Lincoln. Each one hands him a letter which defines one of the Seven Decisions That Determine Personal Success.

When he gets letter #1, he’s told to:

"Read it twice daily until it is committed to your heart. For only by committing this principle to your heart will you be able to share its value with others."

Decisions in our head do nothing. When we put it into action… that’s when the decision is truly made.

Like letter #3:

"I am a person of action. I seize the moment. I choose now."

Not someday. Not when things settle down, or the time finally feels “right.” Now.

Most of us have a decision or two or three that we've been circling. Health related, work that’s calling to us, a difficult conversation.

What's one decision you’ve been putting off?

Is today a good time to truly make the decision and take a real step?

Because your life is the sum of the decisions you commit to your heart, and act on. Not the ones you keep meaning to make.

Wishing you and yours a great week.

Day 1. All in. Let's go.

-Michael
