“There is a science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches, and once these laws are learned and obeyed by anyone, that person will get rich with mathematical certainty.” ~ Wallace D. Wattles from The Science of Getting Rich
The Science of Getting Rich. I have to say the title scared me away from this little book/essay for awhile. Then, I got over myself and jumped in. And, I’m thrilled I did. Wattles is a pretty fascinating writer. He reminds me of a mix between James Allen (see Notes on As a Man Thinketh) and Ralph Waldo Emerson (see Notes on my favorite essays) focused like a laser-beam on creating wealth (aka getting rich!).
In this PhilosophersNote, I’ll help you tap into the wisdom of this great essay to align with the infinite flow of abundance in your life. We’ll explore the logic of WHY you should get rich (Wattles says without money you can’t live at your highest potential and your entire purpose in life is to give yourself most fully; therefore, you MUST be rich to fulfill your moral obligation to your creator) and, of course HOW to go about doing that. Must read if you’d like to turn your abundance flow up a notch or three. ☺
